Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. recently won the Thailand Digital Excellence Awards 2020 in the “Thai Digital Champion for Optimized Operations” category from Thailand Management Association (TMA), Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The award highlighted Chevron’s outstanding operational excellence through its adoption of digital technology to maximize the efficiency of its petroleum exploration and production operations in the Gulf of Thailand.

The award reflects Chevron’s leadership in operational innovation. Chevron works tirelessly to develop new technologies and innovations as well as build personnel’s digital fluency by systematically adopting digital processes and tools. The goal is to increase cost advantages and continually optimize operation capacity to support the mission to supply energy to the kingdom with a systematic approach to safety and environmental stewardship. Chevron is one of four organizations that received the Digital Excellence Awards out of 80 participating organizations.

The Thailand Digital Excellence Awards was held for the first time this year to recognize and support organizations excelling in digital management. It also enhances the standard of digital management in Thailand. The initiative is intended to be an ongoing project to increase the rate of digital adoption within organizations in a systematic manner.
